NANI FILM is a New York City based, creative independent film production company, founded by independent filmmaker Marianne Hettinger for romantic comedies, drama, art-house and dance films with a micro- or low budget.

June 2014: 13 pilot episodes of "Hallo New York" completed and premiered in Augsburg, Germany.
June 1st, 2014: "Homeless in Washington" was premiered at the Liliom Theatre in Augsburg, Germany with an excellent review in the "Augsburger Allgemeine" paper.
April 22nd, 2014: TV talk show "HALLO NEW YORK" (episode with Ann Hampton Callaway and Chris Orbach) won an AWARD OF MERIT at the BEST SHORTS COMPETITION, in the category PILOT PROGRAM (Nani Film/ vidFame LLC).
March 2014: The short film "Homeless in Washington", a co-production with vidFame LLC, was completed. Director/ Writer: Marianne Hettinger
February 2014: MANGO TANGO was released on AMAZON INSTANT VIDEO by KINONATION (Studio).
July 2013: The leading German magazine "BUNTE" gave a sneak preview into Marianne Hettinger's interview with UTE LEMPER, and German Pulse Magazine wrote an article about HALLO NEW YORK!

April 2013: Wolfgang Gabler (aka Gaebler), former CEO of Germany's largest computer and video-game company just made partners with Marianne Hettinger, owner of NANI FIlM with their new company: vidFame. We're looking forward to an exciting and productive partnership!
March 24th, 2013: Introduction of "Hallo New York" talk show pilot co-produced with vidFame, screening in Augsburg, Germany.
Fall/ winter 2012/ 2013: NANI FILM is producing a talk show TV-Pilot in Manhattan with an American and a German version. Director, writer and host: Marianne Hettinger. Pilot guests: Ann Hampton Callaway, Ed Dixon, Robert Montano, Chris Orbach, Dieter Riesle, Marianne Schaefer-Trench, Jirina Ribbens and Natascha Ahlborn.

July 29th, 2012: successful screening of "Saint Vitus Dance" and "Strad For Lunch" at the Liliom Theatre in Augsburg, Germany, with much press.
Spring 2012: NANI FILM produced "Strad For Lunch", a one-hour documentary about Oscar Bohorquez' violin concert debut in New York City at the WMP concert hall with Argentine tango.
